Senior Dog Emergency Binder — Printable Caregiver Guide

Help the next caregiver know your old friend.

You know the daily routine, where the care notes live and which questions to ask the vet. But if someone else needs to step in, those details shouldn't have to stay in your head.

The Senior Dog Emergency Binder brings your dog's care information into one printable place. Whether you're preparing for a planned handoff or keeping information ready just in case, this 10-page caregiver guide gives you space to write down the details you want another person to know.

Keep the important information together

• Record your dog's medications and veterinarian-provided instructions
• Keep veterinary and emergency contacts in one place
• Describe daily routines
• Write care instructions for the person stepping in

Print the pages, fill them in with your dog's current information, and tell your chosen caregiver where to find them. Review your notes when routines or veterinary instructions change.

This is an information organizer, not a first-aid manual or a substitute for veterinary care. It does not prescribe medications or tell a caregiver how to treat an emergency.

💛 A note from Kellye:

I'm not a veterinarian. I'm a dog mom who has been in the trenches, late nights, vet bills, hard decisions, and a whole lot of love. Everything in this guide comes from personal experience, years of research, and conversations with our own vets while caring for Dixie, our mixed-breed dog who lived to be 20 years old.

This guide is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Please always consult your vet for diagnosis and treatment decisions. This is just one dog mom sharing what she wishes she'd known sooner.

Always consult your veterinarian. 🐾
