Our Story

Meridian Mogul Media is a family publishing house in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, built around one kitchen table, one real dachshund, and a few very stubborn dreams.

It started with Ween — a real dachshund with a grey muzzle and an orange bow tie who moved with his family to Hartwood Hollow, eight tree-tunneled acres off Earhart Road. When an ice storm and a heater fire turned the family's world upside down in the winter of 2026, Ween walked out the other side of it as the hero of his own true story. Kellye Potter, a REALTOR® and home designer who'd been building and telling stories her whole life, wrote it down. A publishing company grew up around it.

Today Meridian Mogul Media publishes across three imprints:

Hartwood Ink — Ween's Wild & Wonderful Adventures of a Brave Dachshund, and the M.A.X. & Millie robot series. Real dogs, real hearts, read-aloud picture books for ages 6-9.

Iron Skillet Publishing — Momma Gail's Kitchen. At 89, Momma Gail has been cooking up goodness for nearly nine decades. Nutrition for the Aging Souls, Meals for Two — because no meal should be eaten alone, and because a senior dog deserves a seat at the table too.

Potter & Iron Press — the Mavis Malone Southern Gothic suspense novels of K. W. Potter. Hydrangeas, jasmine, and family secrets.

We're a small company on purpose. Every book is written, designed, and published in-house, printed on demand, and shipped by our partners — so everything we make, we make ourselves. No warehouses, no middlemen, just stories from our family to yours.
